What this page can say
Early tips are player experience, not hidden-game guarantees.

What to do first
For the first few sessions, protect inventory space and follow mail-led objectives before committing scarce parts or money.
Before you start
- Read the current quest and mailbox before spending a named material.
- Carry cardboard boxes for repeat pickups; community and Steam-guide records describe five item slots per box.
- Treat weather and animal behavior as things to check in your own save, not fixed assumptions.
A practical first-days route
- Open the mailbox, pin the next quest, and visit the sender before making a purchase.
- Assign wood, stone, fibre, and other frequent pickups to separate boxes so crafting can draw from stored materials.
- Keep repairable old wires and batteries until your main-story or research prompt explains the conversion.
- When planting near animals, use height or path-blocking layout if they are reaching crops.
Version & evidence note
2Acid rain watering, animal crop damage, and early upgrade order are community-reported. Check the weather warning, crop status, and current objective before relying on them.
